9 Literary Outfits for English Teachers

Teacher fashion is a whole different game than most of the "office" outfits that magazines and fashionistas say we can "wear to work".

Working in education is so PHYSICAL that we have to think about more factors than just professionalism and modesty, such as:
  • shoes that won't break our feet off,
  • dress pants that can survive a workout (for example, basically having to do squats when kneeling next to a student's desk for a chat),
  • shirts that breathe and move, and
  • BUDGET! Our clothes need to be either reasonably priced or SO durable that they will be worth the cost in the long run.
In addition, I love when I can add a literary element - a gryffindor scarf, a quill, a book necklace, or some fun typography.

Below are some of my favorite pieces that I return to again and again. The tees were co-designed by me and my graphic design bestie, Renee!
